Title: Bowl With Nonsense Lozenge - ID = Tutbury Glass
Post by: NevB on February 21, 2024, 12:10:55 PM
This is a 9 1/4" bowl with a nonsense lozenge. Starting at the top they've used an m instead of III, below that a slanted N or possibly a V, to the right an n, at the bottom an n and to the left a C. The foot has been ground which hides any wear it may have. I've searched the registration numbers to try and make sense of it but no luck so far.

I've just found this very interesting post. I did think that the N in the registration was for 1864 and the n's were 11's but couldn't find the matching Rd. So my bowl is by Tutbury Glass Rd.170914 from 11/1/1864.
