Hi, I will be sending these pics. to Frank for the Glass Zoo ........ I was lucky to find both at the Cambridge glass fair yesterday. Both are in mint condition and not often found without damage. The colour of the Whitefriars is Tangerine (1979) . Colour of Mdina is ??????? They are approx 6" high by 8" long.

Regards Patrick. For better pics.

Hi,
Vincente Boffo joined Whitefriars in 1969 as a master glassblower, in the factory he was known as MR Boffo. He worked with his son Ettore and left Whitefriars sometime in 1970. The factory lehr sheets show his last production during Wk 26 of 1970. ( I will try and discover what the date of wk 26 is)
He left with his Son to join Michael Harris who started Mdina , Valletta, Malta . He stayed on at Mdina when Michael Harris left in 1972 and was mainly involved with training apprentices
Ettore died at an early age from leukemia, however I do not know the date of his death or that of his father.

Please note:The Pic. of Boffo is copyright of the Museum of London but I do have their permission to use it on forums .

It is so good that his great talent is now being discovered and appreciated.
Regards Patrick.
