Title: NGS...what does it stand for?
Post by: Patricia H on May 23, 2007, 11:24:59 PM
I was wondering what these initials (NGS) stand for when you see them on a paperweight.  I googled it but couldn't find anything.  Thank you!     Pat

As a mark, signature or part of the design?

Hi...it's etched followed by a date.  I am new at researching paperweights, but have learned a lot from reading posts on this board.  Thanks.  Pat

I saw it on ebay...this is the item number.  330122207207

I thought it was unusual.
Thanks again...Pat

Hi,
If you look at the pic it looks more like N65 to me, possibly a design number or "weight number 65" in which case somebody is sure to recognise the design.
Not sure what the mark is between that and the date but could that be the makers mark?
Kind regards,
