Two Archimede Seguso vases in the popular colourway purple / pink / clear for show:
1. A tall (30 cm) "A Griglia" vase, surprisingly light weight for such a substantial Murano piece. The pink on purple grid pattern is best seen in reflecting light...
2. Sommerso vase very much in the style of Flavio Poli, but it has a scalopped A. Seguso label to the base. Opposite to the Seguso vdA pieces in a similar style, it has a cut rim which is only slightly smoothed (fire polished?). Flattened shape, 22 cm wide, 20 cm high.

;D Your photos of the first complex piece are really good - they show enough of the reality to get me really frustrated that I can't see all around from different angles to find all the different appearances. ;D ;D ;D

Thank you Sue! :)
It is quite a complex piece.
Here is one in another colourway - nice pics which show the technique in detail:

:o Stunning - and I do like the contrasts, but I like your colours better.

Superb colours on both, but the first one is incredible. Gorgeous glass.

Hi Rocco, lovely piece of Griglia and well documented A. Seguso. I have a gold piece which I suspect is different to yours as it has an internal spiral ridge that complicates the light going through it. Does your piece have this internal ridge in it?
This is my piece. https://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,69670.0.html
