I've had no luck identifying the maker of this bowl. Each year I recieve a piece of Finnish glass from a family friend. Her mother & father immigrated from Finland and they had collected many wonderful pieces, most signed and dated. This year's piece is a mystery bowl. She is almost certain it is Finnish since it was always displayed with their other Finnish glass.
It is molded, thick glass with an irregular top rim. 5-6 inches tall and 9 inches wide.
Does anyone recognize this pattern/shape/design?
Thanks kindly!

I'm sure this is difficult to research - but I'd look into the designs of Kajja Aarikka for Humppila. She is mainly known for cast plates with natural motifs (hay, pine trees, grasses) and I have no idea if this is one - but it looks her style. All made between 1972 and 1987

I thought of Humppila even before I saw Ivo´s response as I have plates that are pretty similar and think that they are by Humppilan Lasi. I have, however, no clue of the designer.

Thanks so much for the leads to Humppila. I'm sorry for the delay in offering my thanks, I've been quite ill and am way behind in my affairs.
Best regards to all!

Definitely Hummpila as I have the exact same bowl with original label. No idea of designer though.

It could just be my eyes or the fact that painter1959's photographs are a bit blurry, but they don't look like the same bowl to me. What does everyone else think?

Don't know, can't decide for sure
