Poland / Re: Hortensja, POLAND - a major discovery (Deco and Carnival)

Not sure if the palm trees should be a split topic from Glen's Hortensja post but, I've found a palm trees pattern in a Czech Stolzle 1930's Catalogue.

Glass Trinket Sets / Czech Catalogues Bohemian Glass Website.
« Last post by Jayne on Today at 02:37:37 PM »
I've recently discovered a wonderful collection of Czech glass Catalogues.

I can see that several of our Mystery Trinket Sets will now be able to be identified, and some other queries clarified. Some dates are much earlier than presently recorded.

Hi Sue,
Wow, I just used your wording for searching and it brought up loads - I'm obviously not being precise enough.
Thank you for the link to Pressed Glass - will read with interest.
All the best,
Marie.

Some examples of the pinched jugs.

I have seen this shape somewhere before but can't find any examples with a quick search now. Somewhat like the odd pinched together 2 colour (Tango style) jugs this vase has the rim pinched together to form three extra openings, I would hesitate to call them spouts... Struggling to come up with a reasonable name for this form, any ideas?

The decor is named Pastel Spatter and the vase is 16cm tall.

British & Irish Glass / David Moir vase for show
« Last post by glassobsessed on Today at 07:54:03 AM »
Some information about David Moir here on Scotland's Glass:
https://www.scotlandsglass.co.uk/cms/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=22&Itemid=43

The vase is signed David Q Moir 2006 and stands nearly 12cm tall. Made very much in the manner of Ysart glassware, lovely...
