Title: somerso vase - ID = Ichendorf

This vase is heavy somerso, the section is square, the inner layer is grey; the top and bottom are polished, and each side has two rows of 8 bubbles. I've seen a similar technique (but different, of course) from Milouse Roubickova, so I tend to think Czech. Workmanship and finish are impeccable and it weighs a ton.

Does anyone know anything?  :)

The squares look similar too my vase which Le Casson kindly identified.

I don't know if these squares are a common feature of all Czeck glass?

Thanks - I missed that one. I see some family resemblance, although, of course, the Sommerso one is not pressed.

Thank you for this surprising identification - and a pleasant surprise it is, too.
In retrospect I have seen this model on a glass fair maybe 4 or 5 years ago with the Ichendorf attribution - but some things are hard to remember.

Ivo,
Ichendorff it is, have a variant in the barn at the moment. And yes, I couldn't no-say a czech possibility, so I bought it, and was corrected later.
I like these, and tho a tunnel focus person, it will return to the house after the new ceilings have been put in.
regards,
Marcus
