Title: Unusual Paperweight ID Help Needed Applied Uranium?

Can anyone help identify the age and origin of this paperweight. I don't have a black light to check but it seems the applied features contain uranium. He's quite lovely and I can't find anything else like him? Base holds no clues.

Nice owl. Please post a base shot. Even if there are no marks we need to see the finish. From experience, I think the applied bits are just opalescent rather than uranium.
