I am looking for information on the Knoblswald glassworks located near Nordrach, Germany. I have some information from various Wiki sites but am looking for more detail.
I am especially interested in one employee: Joseph Greiner, born about 1700. Joseph married Ursula Willmann (dau of Johann Willmann & Barbara Laule) 9 May 1723 Neukirch. I am most interested in his birthplace, his parents' names, and the names of any children of he and Ursula. Thanks!

Fine - let's do a bit of genealogy here ;-).
I assume you've seen http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greiner_(Glasbl%C3%A4ser) (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greiner_(Glasbl%C3%A4ser)) - have you tried to consult the literature mentioned there?
Glass makers Greiner from Knobelswald and Äule are mentioned on Saar-Ahnen-Klein (http://saar-ahnen-klein.de/Karte_25871.htm) in connection with Scherzinger. The author seems to be interested in other glass maker families as well - so it might be worthwhile to contact him.
The forum of the Siegwart family (http://familienverband-siegwart.org/index.php?id=63) (also a large glass maker family) contains contributions mentioning Greiner as being related (by marriage) to the Siegwarts on several occasions (do a forum search for Greiner). One author deals on his own web page (http://www.ahnenforschung-sterk.de/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&id=83&Itemid=98) with several glass maker families (though Greiner is not mentioned).
There is also a thread on the glass maker family Greiner (http://geneal-forum.com/phpbb/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=6541) on http://www.geneal-forum.com/ ... I recommend you register there (for free and without obligation) and add your question(s). Don't hesitate - English is fine on this forum.
