Title: Duck on Nest - SV mark. ID = Schmid Vannes-le-Châtel France
Post by: catshome on May 20, 2007, 10:05:23 AM: I've been reading the threads from 2005 about the SV mark and also ducks on nests, and there's a reference to a book which might be coming out and which may have more info on the SV mark.

Does anyone have it and can they help with this little guy please? (5" long x 3" wide x 4.5" tall and very crisp/detailed moulding, and I think vaseline glass)

Just found this interesting piece on SV Hens on Nests (turned out there was a hen on nest in another of the boxes lol)

Post by: catshome on January 15, 2020, 02:56:58 AM: No reaction to UV light, but agree it's not Vaseline. The article above has an image of a hen and egg cup in the same glass, but doesn't describe the type of glass. Jadite sounds right.
