Hi, darker blue dish on left is 5 inches wide and light blue right one is 4.5 inches at widest points. They both have sunken bases. can anyone help with ID please, thanks
-
Yes definitely Czech the one on the left was made by one of the Sklo union factories and the one on the right was recently identified here http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,30477.0.html
I am sure someone will give you more precise information on the left hand item as the precise details have slipped my mind even though I have three of them!
Edit just checked my SKLO book and the one on the left is an Ashtray Rounded Quadrilateral form with cruciform pattern by Rosice Pattern Number 1145. Thanks to Marcus for his wonderful book. :)

Now I've got a 1145 bowl/ashtray as well... Unfortunately, in a really ugly light pinkish-salmon colour. :usd:

Actually, I like this Rosice salmon-pink :)
I have one piece in this colour, a Vladislav Urban vase...

Oh, lucky you! The 20064 Urban vase is on my wish list... but I'm still not fond of the colour. It's such an undecided colour -- something that didn't know if it wanted to be pink, or salmon, or maybe brown. I'm confused enough as it is. I don't need my glass to be. :usd:
