Can anyone help identify the maker of this suncatcher with moulded decoration. The colours are very similar if not the same as those found on the architectural slabs (flame) produced by Whitefriars. Height measures 5.125"Any help would be much appreciated thankyou.
Regards
Trudy

Oh, one of these was on eBay around August time and I seem to recall it being attributed to Holmegaard, but I can't verify the attribution. I'm only familiar with H/G's circular sun-catchers. But the look and finish seems to point towards them.

Hello Nic
Thank you for your help.

I dug out one of my Holmegaard suncatchers with similar orange/yellow colouring... it's from Michael Bang's 'Noah's Ark' series, but HG did do more abstract/geometric suncatchers too.

Nic - could this one possibly be from Michael Bang's 'Noah's Ark' series?
It's 4.5" diameter and half an inch thick around its rounded circumference (weighs approx. 250g).
I previously posted this along with a couple of other items but had no definite attrib.

As far as I know, all of the Noah's Ark series had the animals stood on a stylised ark-shaped... thinggie! Also the ones I have are quite thin and light - but that's not to say it isn't Holmegaard.
I do have a really big (nearly 18cm diameter) HG suncatcher that has the same chunky rim around it, as well as a small blob of glass (6cm) which I've always assumed was a paperweight...

Blob of glass is more likely Erik Höglund than Holmegaard - like these:

Oh, that's interesting. I always assumed it was Holmegaard because I bought it in a big joblot of other identifiable pieces!
Is it just a decorative blob of glass, or an ineffectual paperweight?
