Title: Pink Cased Enameled Vase - English?
Post by: dishplay on September 25, 2004, 01:02:32 PM
:D Hi, back with another one that has me stumped.  6 inches tall, the rim is rough ground. I thought at first it was Bristol glass, but it's much more substantial in weight and there is no unfinished pontil.  Any direction to research is most appreciated.  Thanks! The greek key points at "Etruscan style" glass which was very popular 1847-1852 - and for a number of years afterwards. I'd vote for British - but would not be surprised if it turned out to be Czech or French either.

Hello and welcome.

If you want to add information to this older thread, you can just add it in the same way as you asked your question.  If you want to start a new topic, there is advice in the first section on "Board info" about posting and adding pictures.  If you get stuck, just ask - we are always happy to help.
