Title: Is this Blenko? looked my books can't find anything.
Post by: pam roybal on March 15, 2006, 03:57:49 AM
Looking for help in all the right places  I looked for this in my books, Popular 50's and 60's Glass and circa Fifties Glass can't find it. Yes, I did buy some books! It is 12" tall and looks like the Topaz or Wheat color to me. I have also looked at all of the Blenko sites and find some things close but no horse shoes. Thanks Pam

Hi Pam,

The vase is not Blenko, sorry I don't know anymore than that.

from the photo, it looks like crinkle glass?

Unlikely to be Morgantown and certainly not Anchor Hocking with that base.

Thanks for all of the hlep! You people are great, I read the board all of the time. It didn't think crinkle glass was blown, but why not. Thanks for the info on the Blenko sites, I visit them all of the time, they did a great job, very informative. This vase is giving me a bad time, I am spending too much time on it. Someday I will run across something like it, maybe on the internet or at collectable store. Thanks again.
