I have just seen a Mdina Crizzle Stone, signed by Michael Harris, on a famous auction site. The Buy It Now price is a mere $12,000! :o Cheap at half the price :P That is one more to the tally of crizzle stones.

We must be reaching 40 known now, or is it more?
This is a link to the auction.

This one is very, very like mine, but mine doesn't have extra scratches on the bottom and a slightly shorter neck.
It looks pretty much the same, on display. :)

Mmm, think of an outrageous asking price and then double it.... The polished 'facets' would worry me, not seen that on a crizzle stone before, they look much too small to be described as 'cut ice'.

And only on one "side". It's understandable in a normal cut ice piece that it is the front that is cut, not the back, but I can't see it having been done on one side. Methinks possibly a repair.

I agree Sue

It's been discounted to $9000. Still a few grand to go!
