Title: Bright green preserve jar with lid - Unsure if this could be Czech
Post by: heartofsklo on July 23, 2011, 04:16:57 PM
The jar measures 11.5cm from base to lid top and it has a spoon space in the lid. No marks to the base.

Could well be a sugar, it had a souvenir teaspoon in it when I bought it which was from "Pilgrims Rest" which is in South Africa. I do not think they belonged together though.

It's a Bagley honey jar in the Osprey pattern, No 3153, 1946-1975. If it glows bright green under a UV light, it's early. Info Bagley Glass, Bowey and Parsons
