Title: Lighter, Barbini?
Post by: glasswizard on July 22, 2006, 09:53:37 AM
I have seen several of these recently with bullicante or adventurine. I believe they were done by Barbini mainly and was wondering if this one could be Barbini as well. Thanks in advance for any info. Terry

Yup!
That is a Barbini shape.
I have several with labels, and its shown in his catalogue.

Thanks so much for the info. I have another piece and if I can find it and photo it, I suspect it also started out as a table lighter, but when I bought it the insert was gone.  Thanks again, Terry

A complete smoking set by Barbini, who would of thought that that bowl shape is an ashtray!

Hi Terry,
Here's a photo of the matching bowl that goes with the lighter.
It is pictured as a set on the Barbini catalogue.
