Got these today, a set of six 5oz tumblers, which will be used ::) are they around the mid 1950's do you think ? all etched with the logo seen on the front of the box, ;D
-
Still can't put a date on these but have seen single glasses going for £24.99 so it looks like I got a good deal ! ;D ;D
-
Have you checked the box carefully - there may be a code that indicates a printing date
-
The only numbers are on the side of the box next to the pattern name 'Lismore' 600-318 which I presumed was the pattern number, ;D
-
Really popular pattern keith, an easy seller, i have never seen that etch mark on Waterford glasses and your right they need to be used. ;)
-
;D ;D Will be using them (one ) tonight, Scottish single malt in Irish crystal ;D Heard from Waterford, they said the Lismore pattern finished in 2006 but the box looks a lot older.
-
I have the 1963 catalogue and the Lismore range is certainly in there. It was Waterford most successful range and my guess be that your box was from the 1970s.

Thanks WhatHo, the box could easily be 70's ;D
