Title: ID for this green and gold bud vase
Post by: johnfandmaryp on April 29, 2007, 03:53:17 PM
I would also appreciate any information about this vase which I acquired in a mixed lot at auction recently.
It's about 17cm tall and has '1/430' hand painted in gold on the base.

Thanks again, John.

Whatever it is, it certainly is lovely.

Fritz Heckert in Silesia would be my prime suspect. Harrach would be a second, and Legras of St. Denis a runner upper. I do not think you'll get any closer than that, if you do please tell.

Thanks for your kind words, PaperweightArts and thank you Ivo for the information. I'll see what I can find down those tracks and will certainly let you know if I find anything definite.
Cheers, John.
