Title: Rare c1860 Dorflinger Brooklyn Flint Glass Covered Comport

Hi there all. I just wanted to show some pics of a new acquisition of mine. It is a circa 1860 Brooklyn Flint Glass Works (C. Dorflinger) covered comport. It is a large piece, measuring 11" tall x 9.5" wide. These are not often seen and wanted to share the pics and info.

I also wanted to point out the cutting on the base. This is referred to as a "Brooklyn Star" because Dorflinger used it while in Brooklyn.

Very nice piece of Dorflinger glass!!! It looks to be in great
condition.
