In the 1953 Sowerby Catalogue, Trinket Set 2638 is advertised under 'NEW ATTRACTIONS' and "ALL GLASSSWARE ILLUSTRATED ON THIS PAGE MADE ONLY IN OUR FAMOUS ROSALIN SHADE"
http://www.victorianpressedglass.com/pdf/sowerby/sowerby_1953.pdfAs we know the set was made in many other colours; amber, blue, pink, green, uranium green, matt pink, matt green, matt blue, and some are part matt/frosted.
Does this mean all the other colours came after 1953, and Rosalin (Pink) being a 'new attraction' in 1953 was the first time 2638 was produced as we have 1940's as a base date for production?
