From a great distance, one might think that this (http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-53481-19255-0/1?icep_ff3=2&pub=5574631383&toolid=10001&campid=5335820906&customid=&icep_item=220781590756&ipn=psmain&icep_vectorid=229508&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg) is a bad Baccarat pansy. But were they ever that bad? And if not, is it Chinese - it does not look quite right for them? So who is to blame?

     Looks as if it started off as a half decent baccarat pansy, then the apprentice came along and messed the arrangement up as it was gathered, was told to destroy it but hid it away and had the base cut later ??????????
      I knowww, its fanciful thinking but can anyone come up with a better story. :pb: Regards Roger.

       Now at £73.99 bid, perhaps I was right about the baccarat naughty apprentice, but I wouldn't buy it. Roger over and out.

the kind of lampwork is in my opinion never baccarat.
the kind of lampwork looks like chinese.
the starcut base is  in my opinion never chinese.
the kind of starcutbase looks like baccarat.
and now?
still an enigma!
who shall resolve it?
rogers idea could work.
any other opinions?

Hi all

Four snipes in the last 10 seconds and it rose from £75 to £280!

So clearly that apprentice knew what he was doing !

     Well,well,well, I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Perhaps I have got to the stage that I wouldn't buy a weight for its name, but for its beauty and name? This is what I call stunning by perthshire and at a fraction of that price (but its not 19th century of course). Regards Roger. :o
