Title: What happened to Fossilfly?
Post by: ardy on August 14, 2019, 10:37:12 PM
This site is my 'goto' site but I do occasionally have a look at fossilfly. Tried to log in today and the site is not there anymore?

If they have closed down we have lost a site for checking pieces we are not sure about. Pity they didn't just leave the data there.

No idea what happened, nothing on Twitter since 2013 and the domain name is available on godaddy.  I'm not on Facebook, but there may be something there.

Hey Ardy...  When you get a chance, give me a yell. You mentioned a while back that you were looking for a statement Seguso piece.  I just might have what you're looking for. I'd rather it go to a true collector who  will appreciate it rather than someone buying it solely because it's nice. raudinot AT verizon DOT net  302-423-7334

Hi Anne maybe I am dumb but I cannot get to any of the data. The archive URL's seem not to have been kept.

I tried to access Fossilfly a few weeks ago and it was there,  but full of spammed adverts for pretty unsavoury stuff.
I contacted Anita about it and she said she would inform the webmaster..... so I think it has been taken down now.... and with the stuff that was there,  I can only say thank heavens it has! :'(
