Title: Clichy? paperweight Age and Maker ID Please

Not my area of expertise - at all, but I am posting 4 weights I was looking at today.....  info appreciated..... identified to me as Clichy.

Looks ok for Clichy c1850.

Looks like there are several lovely rose canes in that Clichy, too!  :D  A very nice one!   :thup:

Craig,

Examine the weight carefully. Check for a C signature cane - this could make a very big diffrence to its value. Typically a weight like this would be worth £200-£400, but with a signature cane that value would double.

It looks like a later macedoine or scrambled Clichy paperweight. As already stated a Clichy rose cane effectively identifies the weight (although Clichy-type canes do rarely occur in Baccarat and early American weights)
