i have a small vase ,lilac in colour,20cms in height,quite heavy,bubbles in glass,the base is rough where glass has been cut off.any ideas of make thanks

Probably Alum Bay Glass, shape & colour is typical for them.

There's an almost identical one on ebay (230096513586) listed as Isle of Wight - and with the flame logo impressed into the pontil. Might be worth comparing your pontil with the one shown in this listing..............

All I see on that item is a blobby pontil mark, no impressed flame. I'm sure Isle of Wight Studio glass were not responsible for it. Alum bay is on the Isle of Wight so confusion sometimes arises.

I have a gorgeous Alum Bay vase that's almost identical to this one in shape (mine is amber and is iridised, so there are differences!). I bought it in the Alum Bay Glass Studio's shop, in Alum Bay, so I can verify its origin.
