I figure not many go there so I thought I'd post this here if anybody is intrested:
http://www.bidorbuy.co.za/jsp/item/Item.jsp?Trade_TradeId=3327209
Anyone have a clue whose signature that is?
I am not sure the owner knows because he has two other weights on there and his discriptions are waaaay off! (look for his "probably Scotish" weight ;D)
Kind regards
KarelM
Ps:Btw to convert: R7.25=$1 R9,50=1Euro and R13=1Pound (approx)
Pss:Its not my item and I'm not intrested in buying it either.

Could the last bit of that sig read Flygfors? (I'm afraid I'm not an expert on Scandi weights - or on Scandi anything, come to that! ::) )
And the 'Possibly Scottish' is 'Probably Chinese' ;)

I read Strombergshyttan there

I could only make out the couple of numbers at the end "P246" perhaps a pattern nr? I'm not sure what the nomenculture is in Scandanavian glass in terms of numbeing pieces. That is if it is Scandanavian!!

Of course! And so do I, when you point it out! :-[ ::)
I'm sure I've seen a weight like this before somewhere. ???
I think it's definitely Scandi, Karelm. And not my cup of tea at all, I have to say. ;)
