I found a vase on the market today with tin crackle - the type that is usually associated with Leerdam; only this time it had an original label.
Red and silver foil, three letters M surrounding a circle, in the middle the word TRIER. sorry no pic.
Anyone seen the MMM label before? I could not find a glass industry in Trier (a.k.a. Trèves) so it might be a distributor...

A better description would help, lacking a picture...
Are the 3 m's curved around the circle or is the circle imposed over them ???

Ha! I found the mark is TRIEM
Any takers?
Tri Emme would be Italian, no?
-
Could TRIEM be a play on the words 3 M's ?
-
Found this but don't know what it says!
Rechtskundige diensten MMM glass triem
-
Thanks but that is from a company listing - a small judicial services bureau near Amsterdam having nothing to do with glass.
And yes Conny, Triem = Tri M ("Emme") = three M's in Italian
