Title: Thistle Glass

Hope one of you can help me, picked this up the other day, and before I looked thought it might be Edinburgh or the like. But the base has a circular etched mark saying FORIEGN REGD. 826049.

Are there any other sites other than Great Glass for Reg. numbers?
Or anyone seen one before, although im sure it’s not going to set the world on fire.

About 3 1/2 tall, 2 1/2 the top 2 1/4 the base.

Dave — 826049 is not in Jim Edgley's "blue book".    Are you sure that you have transcribed it correctly?   Is "FORIEGN" spelt thus?

Anyway, if 826049 is correct, it dates the registration to February 1938.

Hi Thanks for the info. The number is 826049. As for the FOREIGN ;D it was late, what i need is a spell check  :)
