Title: Knobbly bubbly seedy vase
Post by: Dave247 on March 17, 2007, 08:27:47 AM
Hi
Got this the others day, it looks like whitefriars with the pontil etc but not sure.
It is about 4 1/2 inches tall & 5 across the top. Full of bubbles & there are also a couple of largish slag chips!
Your thoughts please Ladies & Gents

Hi Dave.  I've never seen a piece of Whitefriars like this, with the shape/finishing to the seedy bubbles.  I can't help with attribution, it's not like anything I've seen before, it's a very pretty colour though.   :-\  Hope someone else can help.  :)

Aseda could be an option. See Terry's Scandinvian album http://picasaweb.google.com/muscadale for knobbly vases
