Title: Green Bubbley Cologne or Perfume Bottle - Pulegoso?
Post by: Connie on March 17, 2007, 11:37:35 PM
Here is a cologne bottle I have had sitting on my desk for about 6 months that I have been procrastinating asking about  ::)

It is a sea green color with many fine bubbles.  Would you call this pulegoso? It is large - 6 1/2 inches tall and 3 3/4 inches wide at the bottom.  It has a clear applied lip and a ground stopper. The bottom is slightly recessed with a partially polished pontil mark.

Any help with id would be appreciated  :)

Edited to add:

I found this  info  (http://www.fossilfly.com/Forums/showthread.php?p=2103) on 2 vases which are very similar in color and texture.

Well I would certainly say it was Pulegoso, but I'm no expert on Venetian technical stuff.   :(

Thank you  :)
