Title: help with blue overlay glass cut to reveal white underlay- lidded
Post by: Beryl on March 21, 2007, 10:55:00 AM
Hi Glassies,
Person who sold this piece to me believed it to be a perfume bottle, I'm not sure on its use. I just love the technique. Any help on maker/country of origin/use/age much appreciated.

Beryl, how big is it?  The shape looks more like a biscuit barrel or jar.  It could be a powder jar but looks too deep for that.  The opening looks too big for a perfume bottle.

Sorry Connie, Really should have listed measurements. It is only quite small... 10cms from base to top of lid. It is 6cms  wide at widest point.
Thanks
Beryl

A pomade pot perhaps?
