Title: Amber dressing table set, Walther?
Post by: Tigerchips on March 31, 2007, 11:33:10 PM
Is this dressing table set Walther or someone else? It looks similar to Walther's 'Milton' pattern dressing table set. It's nice but it's damaged in places, shame.

Milton boxes are hexagonal, your tray and candleholders are quite different

Could not find yours instantly in my books - shall return to you very much later  ;D

A few more pics. The tray doesn't seem to match does it? It's the exact same colour though.

TC, what sort of bottoms do the lidded pots have please? I picked up some more bits of this today and the lidded ones have plain bottoms, the unlidded pots have a pattern on them but are otherwise the same size and shape etc.  Pics to follow.

Same as mine then, thanks TC, that's useful to know. :) So either they did lidded pots and unlidded pots or the design of the lidded pots was changed at some stage and my two unlidded ones have lost their lids. My guess is the former.
