::)
I despair of myself...
TWO pieces of glass, different things, one vase, one paperweight, one moulded mark. Can I read it?
What do you think???
I'm not even sure I have it the right way up.

The paperweight photo of the sig is probably the clearer, sometimes I think it might be Hebrew or Japanese....
Well any help is welcome. Thanks in advance.

Sorted. I am informed this is the three rabbits of Island Glass Guernsey.
So that is what those Japanese characters are then....

Phew, Lynne, I'll take your word for it! There's no way I can make that out as rabbits either! ::)

Lynne,
1. Turn your image of the paperweight mark 90 degrees to the right.
2. For "Rabbits", read "Lions".
3. Take a look at this archived message (http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,1276.0.html) and scroll down to see the real detail of the logo.
For other comments on this logo, search the board for "guernsey lions".

Thank you Kevin! I could find Guernsey Island glass mentioned on some sites but not here... I put Island Glass in the search and nothing came up! I must have done something wrong.
And I couldn't find any backstamps pictured, so went by something I was told ::) (yes, I believe all the papers and the TV as well.....). But the clincher for me was finding an identical vase even though I couldn't see the backstamp on that either.
So, we have Lions! I think rabbits are cuter for Easter , but .....
;D ;D ;D
