Hello everyone, I've just picked up a little vase signed c wren, the first name just looks like cur, but could be carl, does this mean anything to anyone? cheers, Gill
-
The name doesn't mean anything to me Gill, but a picture might help our resident experts. (And would also stop your question 'dropping off' the bottom of the page unanswered! ::) )
Especially if you can get a clear pic of the signature! :)

You're quite right of course, just forgot ! :-[. I think "wren might just refer to the birds on the vase. The vase measures 23 centimetres in height. Any info appreciated, thanks.

That should help!

This is most likely Caithness, CW will be the designers name (of the engraving I should think) and 'Wren' is the title of the motif on the front. :)

Max just beat me to it. Caithness is what I reckon, too :)
-
And you both beat me to it - Caithness (in Heather colour) thirded! ;D

Thankyou again everyone, much appreciated!
