Title: Danish Modern? Or What???

I just purchased a vase the other day because I really liked the look of it. Well lo and behold what shows up but this.

This is exactly like the one I purchased. It is as described, polished pontil, and no marks. Does anyone have any ideas on the maker. TIA Terry
