Title: Friedrich??
Post by: Chris Harrison on April 26, 2007, 04:03:16 PM
An eBay.co.uk item 140108043000 has just finished.
http://tinyurl.com/2dgpjy
It's a Scandinavian type candleholder, although the name on the label (it says "Friedrich Mundgeblasen") indicates that it's German (and mouth-blown).

I've googled Friedrich and looked in my reference books, but don't know who the maker is.  Can anyone help, and suggest when this item was made?  I have a couple of reddish versions that were on my parents' dressing table from the late 1960s.

Cheers,
Chris

BTW, love your web pages, John.
Did you manage to get your hands on one of Ray's knobblies from the recent Whitefriars Day at Aarenson Noon?
