Title: Fenton Royal Blue Cornucopia Vase - Help with ID
Post by: Mouser on May 18, 2007, 12:11:00 PM
Hello, all.

I happened across a couple of really nice cornucopia vases. They are unlike any I've seen or found online or in books.  The tops remind me of something Fenton would do, but the inverted fan design on the base is quite different from what I've seen anywhere.  These are unmarked, and stand 5 7/8" at the tallest point and 4 1/4" long at the base.  Any help IDing these would be appreciated.

One less for your unknown shelf  :)

This is a Fenton item - your instinct was correct. Date circa 1934. Colour Royal Blue. Item Fenton's #950 Cornucopia shaped Console set - comprised two 5" tall candlesticks (which is what you have) and also an 11" oval centrepiece bowl.

Sweet.  Thanks a ton, Glen!  I thought for sure these would sit on the ol' shelf o' doom for another few months.
