Well, I don't know if the auctioneer was right, but if the amber vase back right IS Monart, then I have a very very good deal here!
But I am unsure, so who might this be by? Again, quick and dirty as I have only just got back, so these are from the view yesterday. Any help gratefully received.. :-*

Not Monart. Probably Czech 1930's. I would like a few views to add to my not Monart page as this is easily mistaken.
It is also mould blown, all Monart was free blown. Probably has a polished depression under the base, or flat?

It's all wrapped up in newspaper still Frank - which views would you like and I'll take them for you in the morning?
If I remember it has a concave round ground pontil, but no ring or raised blob of glass as I would have expected from Monart - the pontil is more Whitefriar-ey if you know what I mean.

Base at low angle and profile should be sufficient, thank you.

Lynne,
The amber vase looks very similar, in terms of colouration, to one I have. Frank gave the same attribution :)

Frank, if you would like some better photos of this one too, just let me know 8)
