Title: 1920's vaseline bead necklace REG. DRGM. 28

Can anyone help with the origin,date.. of this piece? The metal parts ar all marked REG. DRGM. 28. I guess that the registration mark may indicate 1928 and drgm seems to indicate Germany.  Am I close? The beads may well be hand made as they are very similar but not identical.
