Your links are causing a dialogue to pop-up on my system, so I'm a little concerned about what you have uploaded - can you check these please.

I do not understand why you cannot see the glass, I see the glass not the pop up you see.

I think your file was saved as a paintshop pro image instead of jpg.  If you don't have paintshop pro it would cause problems maybe

Well I have taken a look at the photo properties and they are jpegs, so its not that! I do not understand why I am all of a sudden having a problem.

For me, your pictures always insist on downloading as jpegs, not on opening, which is a bit of a pain because I then have to delete them. I wonder whether it's where they're hosted

Normally this happens because the browser doesn't recognise the format however, in my case, it appears to suggest that Paint Shop Pro could open it.

I suspect it may have something to do with the type of JPEG file it has been saved as.

Cazza, it wasn't anything you had done personally, but these days one does have to be careful when downloading anything, as I'm sure we're all aware of.

I just did a little experiment. If I paste the link into Firefox, it downloads the jpeg. If I paste it into Explorer it just opens it. It's a browser thing connected with the way the hosting site is set up.

Just weird. Probably best to just switch your hosting to the glass gallery. Any site that tinkers with things like this is to be avoided, in my opinion, it is very easy to disguise a virus as a jpg hence the reason I won't open them as prompted.

Hi there Frank
I have been using Auctiva for around 2 years now, no problem. I use it for my auctions on Ebay.
I am sure there is nothing to worry about.

I wonder if it could be a piece of Italian glass from the 1970's?

I'm getting the same popup message as others are. That the images are not displaying correctly in all browsers means there's a problem with the hosting somewhere - either wrong filetype info in the image or the host server has something set slightly wrong. As Cazza says, there probably isn't any danger with the images, but the fact that several of us are experiencing the same problem with them means we're going to be encouraging you to use GlassGallery for hosting images instead.  :)  (If anyone remembers, we had the same problem with Adam P's images hosted on his AOL webspace.)
