Hi,
This:

http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-7600

has us struggling. It looks as though it ought to be by Vaclav Hanus for Jablonecke Sklarny, based on the handles. (They are similar to a set by Hanus exhibited at Gottwladov in 1972).
But Vaclav Hanus tells me "NO". Siegmar Geiselberger was as surprised as I was, at that negative answer.
So, probably not Sklo Union, not Jablonecke Sklarny, so who, where and when please???
TIA.
Regards,
Marcus

Hi Marcus, it is Walther Glas Bad Driburg - Siebenstern, Fifties. Düsterhaus himself recalled that they made it. the Yellow is 'gebeizt'. My identical set bears the original lable ;D

Correction: it should of course read 'LABEL'
It's not Fifties but late Sixties - sorry!
Name is MARIETTA - a German girl's name - I had two companions at school named Marietta - thus very popular in the Fifties ;D

Hi, Pamela,
Thank you very much for this information.
This just goes to prove that simply assuming that a certain design feature is characteristic of a particular designer. is a less than satisfactory method of making an attribution.
I am very grateful for your positive ID.

Marcus
