I have 2 items I need help identifying.
First an intricate amber colored swan on a interesting metal base. There is an angel with full wings in back and a lions head and holding a book marking on the metal base. It proved quite difficult to get the best pic of the base, but I've tried in pic 2.

Base:

The next is totally unrelated a lamp worked frog prince that is just the cutest piece of glass I've ever bought.

Frog 2:

I did not include a pic of the frog base as there is nothing much really to photograph.
If anyone needs more pics I will be glad to accommodate your request.
Thanks a bundle in advance.

Not sure, but I don't think the swan belongs to the base?

The bottom of the swan is "waffled" so it will stick to the metal base better. There appears to be some type of glue holding them together. From what I have been able to find it is probably atleast pewter. Also it is likely a salt or master salt. The only ones I have so far found though researching is glass base with metal wings. But the lion head angel mark on the bottom I have not been able to find any info about... I'm quite sure it is a swan on water, made to look that way anyway. Surprised no one has any info though.

I join you, Cathy - would also judge this as to be a marriage :)
The plate is interesting enough - may we see some more photos please :D

Hi again sorry for the delay. Here are more pics of the swan.
Pic 1 another sideview:

Pic 2 waffled base (best view I could get):

Pic 3 metal base mark view:

I have now noticed also, not sure if it shows up in the photos, but the base seems more likely silverplated.
Thanks for looking as well as any assistance identifying.
Chris
