Hi Again,
This is a lovely golden amber decorated glass cup & saucer. It has white enameled scrolls & dots and gold gilded leaves. It is faintly signed on the bottom of the cup in gold gild "M." Any ideas who made or signed this set? Perhaps, some of the gilded initials/signature have been rubbed off? At first, we thought it might be Moser but really don't think so.

As soon as I hear "Moser" I am struck with an instant sense of despondency - the sheer volume of shyte that has been attributed to this long standing Karlovy Vary manufacturer is amazing. Traditionally, White house drinking glasses (currently doing overtime, I believe - especially the tumblers) were supplied by Moser, which makes it a household name with the Mercan public.
But here Moser might not just be a just a wild attribution. The item is quite close to their actual manufacturing range. Being dinnerware you'd need a set of 12 or better 18 to make it interesting for the trade, of course, but the maker might concevably be as suggested.

I have had some say it is Bohemian (possibly Moser) or French and others British. The "M." is what is throwing everyone off though. Perhaps, it is an artist's initial?
