Hello
It is such a long time since I last used the site but everyone was so helpful last time. Now I am eager to have some glass identified and I'm not getting on too well with down loading them. I get on fine until the part where I am told the files are too big. I have retaken the photos on the lowest resolution ( don't know if this actually helps!!!) and I have trimmed and clipped but to no avail. Please tell me what I have to do next!!
Thank you.
Mary.

Hi Mary,
The blue and the amber ones are for sure. You can read about the amber one here: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,2038.0.html
and the blue one here: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,8657.0.html
Well done with getting the photos on!!

Hi.
Green ashtray: Technically Sklarny Inwald, 1946, pattern number 12478/165, designed by Rudolf Schrotter, but still produced at Rudolfova Hut', as late as 1986. Pattern name Roma. So Sklo Union.
Blue " Four Lens" vase: again Schrotter 1955, pattern number 914, Rosice. So Sklo Union.
Amber vase: Rosice @ 1962, so Sklo Union.
Last one. I think this differs from the vase in the link above, which does not have these lens??? if I remember correctly.
I have no definitive Sklo Union id for this, though it reminds me of something by VEB Ostglas. I'll see what else I can find. Definitely pressed decoration??
Regards,
Marcus

Hello everyone
Thank you so much for all the help with getting my items identified. I obviously was making harder work of the photo's than was needed. At least I know for next time.
Thank you Marcus for such a detailed answer. I am especially happy that the ashtray is Sklo Union because I first saw it on Ebay and didn't think it was. Happily I was the successful bidder at £2.99!! This was originally going to be part of my son's birthday present - he loves heavyweight ashtrays - but as it is Sklo Union he is the loser as I will be keeping it! Cruel mother. I am sure you will remember that I had my first Sklo Union pieces last year and the love affair goes on!
Lastly the clear vase is pressed and has faint mold lines down each half top to bottom.
Thank you again, Mary. :)
