Have just bought these two marvelous vases, the first has two ladies/mermaids holding up the vase

The one with two ladies: definitely NOT Walther - I loved to know the maker also  ???

Hi Pamela,

The mecury vase does glow under my UV torch and the two ladies glow as well.

It seems to be a variation on the Walther Windsor so may be Czech? as the moulding is very good especially the face with the nose.

I love the colour of your vase Pamela, are your ladies frosted, as my are not?

I think your second vase was the one I saw some years ago marked "Tchechoslovakie". At the time I mistook it for Walther (misread the German on Siegmar Geiselberger's site...  :-[)

Hi,
And another enquiry bites the dust after nine months........
The first vase is Libochovice a.s. Pattern number 1948/200.
