Title: Sommerso Apple and Pear Paperweights/Bookends --ID? and Question re: condition

Hi all,
I have in my collection this set-apple is 3.1lbs and 5"H, pear 4.6 pounds and 7" H. I have been unable to pin down maker or age...
Also --when looking down on pieces-where stem overlaps piece-lines can be seen --I believe these are due to refraction of glass layers (for lack of better word)-but fear the may appear to be damage or "heat check" like marks.......
Opinions appreciated, as if I wan to list for sale...I want to be sure these are not damaged or perceived as such...

Your top picture is too big to see and the rest are just thumbnails and too small. Copy the link called Url link, that's the one that takes you directly to the pictures

I can't really tell about the "damage." It might just be an internal air bubble that was trapped when the clear stem was attached to the rest of the item.

They are probably by Alfredo Barbini, BTW.

thanks SO much Laura....I do so appreciate your input..!  I personally see no problem with the visible "lines" which are shown--I think it is just refraction/and or air bubbles--but always looking for opinions--- (I also collect cut glass-and am so aware of anneling/heat checks --and how they can affect listings)
