There are now 2,003 individual glass designs in Scotland's Glass Catalogue (http://www.scotlandsglass.co.uk/cms/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=51). Illustrated by over 10,000 images.
At the moment it is 75% Caithness, but this balance will change in time. I still have substantial backlogs so not currently needing contributions EXCEPT for earlier Scottish Glass ( say before WWII ). I think it would be reasonable to include Jacobite glasses regardless of the makers origin... so if anyone has one, or some. :) Also, unlike books each item in the catalogue can have numerous illustrations, showing every part.
All of the Ysart catalogues will be combined into the single database.
There are also 14 articles (http://www.scotlandsglass.co.uk/cms/index.php?option=com_content&task=section&id=4&Itemid=35) and more are welcome at any time. They can be very short or very long, only criteria is that they are related to Scottish glass in some way. Site members can also add links to glass resources, makers, galleries (http://www.scotlandsglass.co.uk/cms/index.php?option=com_weblinks&Itemid=23) etc, News, anything! Everything is checked before it goes live.
I will be taking a break from adding to the catalogues for a week or two now.
