Title: Hunting Perfume sprays RB - Bohemia/Germany Brüder Rachmann
Post by: Frank on July 27, 2007, 07:43:27 PM
Still looking for any example of the perfume bottles (http://www.glasscatalogue.com/components/com_virtuemart/shop_image/product/52d3f0cfaf37df5914859ae07f1daf60.jpg)

Rachmann Brothers - Glass and Metal Works
a.k.a.
Rachmann Fréres - Cristallerie et fabricants de métal

Haida, Bohemia & Berlin, Germany & Vienna Austria.

Here is their trademark which might appear on the metalwork or a label. (http://www.glasscatalogue.com/components/com_virtuemart/shop_image/category/f0d9834ce72272b9b5c9e48222a98608.jpg)

Despite describing themselves as a Glassworks and Metalworks there is no evidence that they did make glass. They also made metal fittings (http://www.glasscatalogue.com/components/com_virtuemart/shop_image/product/a44923f83f9482ebafeb6eb1dea4b25d.jpg) etc

I'd pass it over to you as soon as one should appear here, Frank  :)
Never heard of, never seen so far I'm afraid

Here is one - pattern 'Mercur' this is the large size in the cheaper nickel finish. Price seems a bit on the extraordinary side! By a factor of ten in my opinion.

But it is good to see that they are easily recognised by the logo being used as the spray button.
Closest match in catalogue for colour http://www.glasscatalogue.com/components/com_virtuemart/shop_image/product/f9ca13e4e216ab72174ec3fcda4da2c2.jpg

Updating as later evidence is that they did indeed produce glass too. One brother was metal the other glass.
