Hi, bought this at the weekend, looks Italian but have I got Chinese again? It's about 7 inches across and has a very rough pontil. Any ideas as to maker, age, much appreciated.

Not Chinese. I would say perhaps mid to late 19th century or even early 20th, but where  I hesitate to say Victorian in case its not English but my guess would be of that era.
Perhaps a nice moderator would put something suitable in the title and get rid of the Chinese

Yeah, that was my immediate reaction too, Christine, or possibly modern? Anyway, the subject has been changed and with luck that will attract someone who knows for sure. :)

Hi Ed, sorry if it's really obvious but what does JMHO stand for?

JMHO = Just my humble opinion :)
