This is a sweet little 3" square neodymium ashtray that just screamed "BUY ME!"  It has a square base but the sides are offset and facetted.  The colours change from lilac to blue and pink depending on different lighting.  Any ideas as to origins?  May be from the geometric design Italian or Czech?

look for a very vague etchmark on the bottom that says "MOSER".  I have a very similar item here and that's what it says.

Thank you Ivo.  I've been unable to find any marks at all unfortunately.  Does that rule out Moser or did they use labels?

That's good enough for me ;)  Sorry Ivo, I wasn't doubting you, just doubting my poor eyesight 8)

It doesn't look very closely related to Ivo's piece to me. There have been and are other makers of faceted neo but anyway the conventional styling makes Moser more likely. For Moser, the weight should be on the light side, having no lead content. Ed.
